Terms of service
Last updated: 6 July 2026
These terms are the agreement between domyme and the business that opens an account (“you”). By signing up you accept them. They're written to be read, not skimmed — they say what the product does and doesn't promise.
1. What domyme is
domyme provides an AI-powered digital team member that reads enquiries arriving in your connected inbox, drafts replies and quotes using the product catalogue and prices you configure, sends approved replies from your own email address, and tracks the resulting quotes, jobs, and invoices. Agents are always disclosed to your customers as digital assistants (the “Do” surname).
2. You stay in charge — and responsible
AI-generated drafts are suggestions. At the default setting, nothing sends without your approval; you may grant the agent more autonomy in Settings, and you can withdraw it at any time. Prices in quotes are calculated from your own rate card — if your rates are wrong, the quotes will be too. You are responsible for the content of communications sent from your account and from your connected mailbox, including auto-sent replies at autonomy levels you enabled, and for honouring quotes you or your agent issue to your customers.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your login secure; you're responsible for activity under your account and your team's seats. Don't use domyme to send spam or unlawful commercial messages (in NZ, the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act applies), to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to breach the service's security or other customers' data. We may suspend accounts that do.
4. Fees, trials, and overage
Plans are billed monthly in NZD (ex GST) via Stripe, at the prices shown at purchase. Free trials need no card; when a trial ends or its included usage is used up, the agent pauses until you choose a plan — arriving email is logged and handled once you do. Paid plans include a monthly usage allowance; usage beyond it accrues fair-use overage at the per-unit rates shown on your plan, billed with your subscription. You can change or cancel your plan any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, without refund of the current month.
5. Your data
Your products, prices, customers, and conversations are yours. You can export them from Settings at any time, and closing your account permanently deletes them. Our privacy policy governs how data is handled; we never train AI models on it. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service on your behalf.
6. Service and support
We aim for the service to be available continuously but don't promise uninterrupted operation — dependencies include your email provider, our infrastructure providers, and AI availability. We may update features over time. Support is by email at hello@domyme.com.
7. Liability
Nothing here limits rights you have under laws that can't be contracted out of. If you acquire domyme for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply. Otherwise, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is capped at the fees you paid in the three months before the event, and we aren't liable for indirect losses — including lost profits or a quote your business chose to honour. This reflects that you, not domyme, control the prices, autonomy level, and approval of what sends.
8. Ending the agreement
You may close your account whenever you like (Settings → export first if you want your data). We may end or suspend service for breach of these terms with notice appropriate to the situation. On closure, data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
9. General
New Zealand law governs these terms; the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction. If we change these terms materially we'll notify account owners by email before the change takes effect. A data processing agreement (DPA) for business customers is available on request.
